Perfect for my skin which is very dry. I would love it if you sold a refill bar in a paper based packaging so I could continue to reuse the tin.
I was hoping the bar would have a very mild scent, but alas, it is too strong for me. I really wish you would make more unscented products.
We received the free tester bar. Both my wife and I love it. It is everything etee says it is, and, I need so little (I used way too much the first time.) We already are planning to buy some bars. We are also wondering what to do with our past shampoo that is left.
I love this lotion bar. It came as part of a variety pack, and I’ve been using it for a few months now — I just ordered more because I’m getting low! It goes on smooth, and as long as I don’t get carried away and use too much, it absorbs well and really moisturizes my hands nicely. This time of year my hands get really dry, and even more so with washing them constantly. This lotion bar as been a lifesaver (or hand-saver, at least). The tangerine oil gives it a very mild and pleasant scent.
I agree with the other customer’s sentiment about selling refills, though, because I’d love to be able to reuse the tin 🙂
I got this lip balm in a variety pack a few months ago, but I wanted to use it for a reasonable amount of time before writing a review. Turns out, I still love it as much as I did when I first got it!
Pros about the lip balm itself:
– the texture is great; it is smooth and moisturizing, NOT greasy/sticky like the balms with petrolatum or vaseline
– I find the the cocoa/mint flavor and scent to be mild and quite pleasant; the cocoa is faint in my opinion, and the mint/wintergreen does not burn my lips like some balms do
– the ingredients are simple and safe — three main ingredients plus two essential oils.
Pros about the packaging and size:
– Plastic-free, as you’d expect from ETEE — the tube is made of paper, but it is sturdy and has held up well over the past few months
– I love the jumbo-sized tube — over the past 2.5 months, I’ve used it multiple times a day and at night, and I still have more than half the tube left
I can’t think of any cons, honestly, although I would LOVE for you to make a lip balm with SPF in it! (ideally mineral sunscreen, not chemical!)
I really like using this product. It’s such a cool re-invention of something so few people think about, they just keep buying bottle after bottle. I have the jar too, and it all fits so perfectly. Really happy with it, going to be a repeat buy!
I am a nurse and my close friend is a paramedic. when the outbreak hit, we were trying to obtain everyday masks that were comfy. We landed on these. They are great, have adjustable ear loops and we have no problem talking in them. Of course, at work, we have to wear other PPE while at work, but for getting groceries, etc it is great. It is comfy and easy to speak while wearing. AND, it is not too hot to wear while down here in Texas
I love everything about the brushes except the bristles are too soft. Make a version with stiffer bristles and I’m in for good.
I love these bags. Anything you put in them stays fresh for-ever! But…I wish I could buy them individually instead of in the pack of small medium and large. I really just want a 3-pack of the large ones right now. Please make it possible to buy just the sizes you need instead of all three, all the time!!!
We loved using these toothbrushes, until it was time to change the bristle head. We found mold growing on the intersection of handle & brush head. Since I’d already purchased the replacement heads, we are just using those instead of the fully assembled toothbrush. Unfortunately when it comes to wood construction, the parts need to be able to dry fully, or they will grow mold.
I didn’t realize how ineffective my other dish soaps were until I switched to this product. I bought it to reduce my environmental impact but holy moly it cleans everything so well. The first time I used it I soaked a pan overnight and not only did it easily remove the meal I just made but I was surprised to find it had also removed about 3 years of burnt on residue. I am overjoyed my pan is no longer hideous and plan to use this dish soap forever!
Fantastic product, received in perfect condition, mixes so well in water, does not separate with time, smells great. I am always looking forward to washing my hands now!
I read some reviewers of people having issues emptying the tubes…here is what I did and it was so easy.
1. Half filled the glass jar with warm water.
2. Cut one side of the soap tube, turn upside down
3. Cut top part of soap tube for air to flow freely, soap will just fall down with almost no residue
4. Poor water in the tube from the top to remove any residue
5. Mix and that’s it…so simple.
Regardless of its environmental benefits, this is the best dishwashing soap I have ever used. It really cuts the grease and it has a built-in reward for its use: an aroma that takes me back in time. I keep it in a small dish, small enough that the bar rides on the sides of the dish, not touching the bottom. Any fine soap deserves as much.
